To Maximize the participation of community members in voting through creating an informed empowered voter.
We plan to organize 10,000 votes by 2024
We will have 200 plus volunteers and community organizers by 2024.
It will help community educate about issues and then understand the position of the candidates on these policies. It will then help connect organizers to the candidates so that community can be mobilized.
Each community volunteer takes responsibility of 3-5 friends that they will vote together. They will understand candidate policy positions and vote together.
Once a volunteer gets more involved then they take responsibility of 8-10 homes to ensure that each vote in that household is delivered. At this stage volunteer become a community organizer.
Individuals votes once they realize the strength of the vote.
Realizing come with small successes. Election of Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Rashda Tleeb and Ihlan Omer have given hope and courage to a dream that American policies can be guided by care for all.
These successes are ONLY possible through robust organizing.
This program organizes community through 3 strategies.
1. This program connects voters to the candidate so they know their positions and feel motivated to vote.
2. As community mobilizes votes together, it helps them understand how their vote become an agent of change.
3. It creates respect of the community that is able to organize and mobilize together.
Nevada outreach will provide to Relationship Organizer, voter guide (voter guide program) containing information about the candidates and their policy position. It will help them started on Minivan, phone application, to keep their households (votes) organized.
Nevada Outreach connects its volunteer and organizers with candidates that are supported by Nevada Outreach so its Organizers can meet and understand the candidate well. Meeting a candidate makes a voter more energized to vote.
